  • Increase in the temperature of your foot?
  • Any areas of inflammation or redness? Redness may not be visible in all skin tones therefore closer attention needs to be paid to other symptoms such as heat and swelling.
  • Presences of pus?

Podiatry Service

The Podiatry Service ensures that the population of Cornwall has access to a high quality and appropriate assessment system. This allows us to best determine the treatment plan suited for you.

The service offer a flexible service that matches the clinical need of each person in Cornwall.

  • Acute foot ulcer clinics.
  • Complete advice and care package planning.
  • Diabetes care.
  • Individually categorised patient care plans.
  • Lower limb musculoskeletal assessment.
  • Nail surgery.
  • Vascular assessment.
  • Wound management.
  • Emergency appointments offered within 3 working days.

Referrals

There are several ways to get a referral to the service:

  • other health practitioner
