How to apply

Applying for a job with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is easy!

Take a look at our current vacancies

If you find a job you're interested in, follow the guidance on the application form. If you have any problems or need more guidance, get in touch.

All applications are then sent to the recruiting manager for shortlisting after the closing date. If we receive high volumes of applications, we may close vacancies early.

Once you have applied

Once you have applied and the vacancy has closed, your application will be sent to the recruiting manager where they will complete shortlisting and invite candidates to interview.

As a Disability Confident employer, we can provide support to help you attend your interview. Contact us if you have any questions.

If you have not heard from us within 2 to 4 weeks of the closing date, you may not have been successful on this occasion. However, please keep looking at the current vacancies and applying!

If you are successful at interview, you will be sent a conditional offer where you'll have to complete some pre-employment checks. If you would like some information about these checks, take a look at the NHS Employers website.

Once these checks are complete, we will book you onto the Trust's Corporate Welcome Day and send your contract of employment.

Application hints

  • Read the job description and person specification in full.

  • Use the contact; ask questions before applying.
  • Provide a concise supporting statement. It should explain how you meet the person specification.
  • Relate transferable experience and include examples.

NHS standards require references from the last 3 years of work, education, or training. Ensure you provide full referee details on your application. These should be your managers, not colleagues. Include your current manager. We will only contact referees if you have been successful at interview.
