Use NHS 111 online or call 111 to find your nearest and quickest treatment option. NHS 111 is available 24/7.

If needed, expert clinicians will arrange for you to be seen at a hospital.

You can also walk into a minor injury unit. If we are busy we may tell you go to another unit so you can be treated more quickly. We will see people who are seriously ill first.

NHS Quicker is a free app that provides live waiting and travel times for NHS services providing urgent care across Devon and Cornwall.

The app provides information about healthcare services available to you based on your location, helping you to choose the right service and spend less time waiting.

You can use NHS Quicker in your web browser or you can download NHS Quicker App to your mobile phone.

Emergency departments and minor injury units

Emergency departments in our main acute hospitals in Truro, Plymouth and Barnstaple are open 24-hours for serious life and limb-threatening injury or illness only.

We have a network of minor injury units across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Their opening hours and waiting times are shown below. You may need to scroll to view the full list.

Stennack Surgery provides a walk-in service for minor injuries only. The service is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm. If you have an illnesses and would like to be seen at Stennack Surgery, please contact NHS 111.

There are also minor injury units and services available in Devon.
