Meet the people making a difference

Providing support across the county are our wonderful doctors.
But who are they, and how did their career paths lead them to joining the Trust?
Here, we meet some of those making a positive impact in our local communities.
Ali's story
Ali is a second-year core psychiatry trainee. He currently works in the Learning Disabilities Team.
He previously worked in the Dementia in Older Persons Mental Health Service. In this role he was based at Falmouth Community Hospital.
Ali has rotated in general adult inpatients and general adults in the community.
In August 2025 he moved to the next part of his rotation. This was to work in learning disabilities.
Ali has also completed a PG certificate in medical education.
He is a teaching representative in the Trust. Ali is also the representative for the Medications Optimisation and Safety Committee.
Ali likes working with dementia patients and supporting them through their journey.
He also spent time working in geriatric medicine. Ali says he enjoyed the mental health aspect of it.
Ali feels lucky to have a wonderful team to work with. He says he has learned a lot from them.
