Liskeard Community Hospital provides inpatient care and a range of clinics to people in the local town and the surrounding area. Free car parking is available at this hospital.
Liskeard Community Hospital has two wards – Oak and Willow. We recommend patients bring a small number of items with them to make their stay in hospital more comfortable.
Visitors to the ward are welcome between 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm, with protected mealtimes between 5pm and 6pm.
The hospital’s minor injury unit is run by highly skilled nurses who are available to treat a range of minor conditions. If you are unsure whether your injury can be treated here, NHS 111 is available to provide further advice. The unit is also able to treat minor illnesses.
The X-ray department operates an appointment system for patients who have been referred by their GP. To arrange an appointment you should ring the GP booking team at Derriford Hospital on 01752 437188 24 hours after your doctor’s appointment.
A number of outpatient clinics are provided from the hospital. Your appointment letter will provide more information but if you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to call. Physiotherapy is also available at the hospital.
