Day Resource Centres are about providing people with the help they need to attain your own personal goals as part of your recovery.
Day service staff will work with people over the age of 18 who are recovering from a mental illness. The focus of day services is about ensuring you are part of your local community and our staff will be happy to meet you in a range of venues in your local area.
Staff from the day services will help and encourage you to attend events and activities in your local community. This could include accessing training from a local college, taking up a volunteering opportunity with a local organisation or returning to paid employment. This will help to build your confidence, develop your skills and talents.
Participating in sports or art activities can help to improve your confidence and self-esteem. Opportunities to meet new people and create a network of friends have a huge impact on how we feel.
Whatever your personal goals for your recovery, staff from day services will work with you to achieve these
The leaflet ‘Bridging the Digital Divide’ by Superfast Cornwall highlights the excellent contribution towards getting as many people as possible online for the first time.
