Requests for Information
We are currently in unprecedented times with the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) across the United Kingdom and the Government and Public Health England have laid out a number of measures to safeguard and protect the general public. It has been necessary to streamline some functions and redeploy resources to support the increasing demands being made on the Health and Social Care System.
If you are making a Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Regulations request or a Subject Access Request we respectfully ask you to consider withdrawing your request at this time and re-submitting it when the current situation has resolved. This will enable us to concentrate our efforts on supporting our colleagues in the provision of direct patient care.
If you are unable or unwilling to withdraw your request, please be aware that we are and will remain committed to responding to your request and will respond as soon as we are able. However due to the reasons already detailed this is likely to be outside of the statutory timeframe.
If you have already made a request please note that the response will be delayed until further notice and it would be appreciated if you can avoid sending chasing communications.
If your request is urgent, for example data is required for Court or to support financial claims such as disability benefits, please provide a detailed explanation and be very clear which records are required and we will review your request. Please communicate via email to ensure staff working from alternative locations are able to receive your request, emails are as follows:
- For FOI and EIR requests: email@example.com
- For Subject Access Requests: firstname.lastname@example.org
- To contact the Trust Data Protection Officer: email@example.com
If you need to speak to someone urgently about your request, please contact the IG Office on 01209 204010.
We appreciate that this is a difficult time for everyone and appreciate your support in this matter, however if you are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office and you can contact them at:
