Trust Solicitor Shortlisted for NHS Unsung Hero Award
Inquest Solicitor Emma Doble received a pleasant surprise recently when she was notified of her shortlisting for an NHS ‘Unsung Hero Award.’
The award is in recognition of her outstanding work in a non-medical NHS role.
Emma, who is a member of the legal team at the Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will find out if she has been successful when she attends a glittering awards ceremony in Manchester, which will be opened by Andy Burham, the city’s mayor.
Emma said, “I am delighted, if not slightly overwhelmed, to hear about my shortlisting for this prestigious award.”
“I am the Trust’s Inquest Solicitor and my role is to support our staff throughout the inquest process.
Emma added, “I am continually inspired and enthused by the staff that I meet and I’m consistently impressed by the care and compassion shown towards patients, which makes my role hugely rewarding.”
Trust Solicitor, Victoria Slavin, said, “This nomination is much deserved as Emma is a true professional, always going above and beyond in what can be a very challenging role.”
“I’m delighted that she has been shortlisted for an ‘Unsung Hero Award’ and I hope that she is successful, as this would be a fitting tribute and much deserved recognition for the excellent work she does for the Trust.”
