Past and present colleagues joined together for a surprise shared lunch at the Family Hub in Hayle to celebrate Margaret’s anniversary.
“I’ve always liked the idea of supporting women and families” commented Margaret.
In 1978 Margaret retrained as a health visitor to pursue a career around preventative work. She has worked in Cornwall community health services for the last 30 years.
Karen Harris, a Health Visitor and 0-19 Team Coordinator said “Margaret provides an amazing service to our families in the community. She is a wonderful person and does a grand job at being a reliable and active member of the team!”
Margaret added “In my 50 years working within the NHS, I’m proudest of my work with parents who are suffering with postnatal depression and helping them to get better”.
