When you start working for the NHS you receive 27 days annual leave, pro rata, plus bank holidays. After five years this increases to 29 days and to 33 days after 10 years’ service.

The Trust is has implemented a new transport solution to enable first class healthcare services, empower staff to undertake their roles in a more efficient manner and meet its obligations regarding carbon reduction targets.

As a provider of community services, the Trust will always undertake business travel.

The aim is to ensure that as much of such business travel is as appropriate as possible. And in simple terms:

  • Travelling less or not at all
  • Travelling in the cheapest method
  • Staff also have access to a salary sacrifice scheme via Tusker
