Popular healthcare administrator retires
A big farewell was recently given to hospital administrator Jan Radley in recognition of her long term service at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital.
Jan, who retired recently worked for many years in a number of different roles within the NHS, more recently as a dedicated member of the Outpatients Department at CRCH, working closely with the administration team and Sister Sarah Richards to ensure the department ran smoothly.
Heavily involved in fund raising for the hospital Jan organised many raffles for a range of charities that included, Genes for Jeans, Pink Day, Cancer Research and Nurse’s Day, also finding time to help with the organisation and promotion of the hospital fete.
Linda Retallick, Matron at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital said “Jan was a dedicated member of the Outpatients Department at CRCH, working closely with the administration team and Sister Sarah Richards ensuring the department ran smoothly.”
“Jan was a valued and highly regarded member of the hospital team who will be greatly missed both by our patients and her work colleagues.”
Linda added “On behalf of everyone at the hospital I would like to thank her for all her hard work and enthusiasm over the years and to wish her well in her retirement.
